Currently students are reading the novel "A Long to Water" by Linda Sue Park. Students are using this novel to compare the two characters' perspectives and also to be able to cite evidence to prove their claims. As a class we are exploring how culture, time, and place influence a person's identity. We are having some very insightful discussions as a class.
